Kids’ Rocking Reindeer Party Games
Kids’ Rocking Reindeer Party Games: Are you looking for methods to keep the youngsters occupied at your holiday party?
All kids will enjoy playing these reindeer party activities, which are included in this collection. The kids at your reindeer party can certainly participate in any Christmas reindeer games that Rudolph might not have always been able to.
Pass the Antlers
- Pass the antlers is a game where guests form a circle and pass a pair of antlers around while listening to music. It is played similarly to the classic game of Hot Potato.
- Each player must put the antlers on their head after receiving them, then remove them and deliver them to the following player. When the music ends, any player still sporting the antlers is out of the game. Up till one player is left, play continues.
Reindeer Relay Race
- You will need two large boxes to serve as the sleighs in order to play this game. Even better, have visitors paint and decorate them as one of the party’s activities. You could then wrap them in Christmas gift wrap. To create the reins for the sleigh, attach ribbon lengths to each box.
- Players should be split into two teams, and each squad should line up on one side of the room. On the opposite side of the room, place a stack of presents or unopened, wrapped boxes on the floor (make sure you have one gift per player).
- Each team should distribute a set of antlers to the first person in line. The elves at the toy store are snowed in, so it’s up to the reindeer to load the sleigh. Explain to the players that Santa is almost ready to go on his journey.
- The first players in line don their antlers, pull the sleighs to the pile of gifts, load a gift inside, and then head back to their teams as soon as you signal the start of the race. The next person in line must put the antlers on when a player returns to the line, then take the sleigh back to the pile to retrieve another gift.
- The race is won by the first team of reindeer to load their sleigh with all of the presents.
Red Nose Wins
- You will need numerous small rubber balls or even gumballs for this game, as well as a variety of trinket awards. Make sure there is just one red ball inside the bag when you stuff it with the balls.
- Pass the sack among the guests as they are seated in a circle. Each visitor must reach inside the bag without peeking and pluck out a “nose” as they get it.
- One of the rewards is won by the player who receives the red nose.
- The red nose is then reinserted into the bag once the player has left the game. Play continues until each player has retrieved their red nose and claimed their prize.
Balloon Antlers
- Players should be split into two teams, with each side selecting one reindeer. Give the team members a bag of balloons and a pair of pantyhose to the reindeer on each squad.
- Have the players blow up the balloons, which the reindeer must then tuck inside the pantyhose legs, and set a timer for five minutes.
- Both reindeer must move quickly to put the pantyhose antlers on their heads before the timer sounds. The winning team is the first one with a reindeer sporting antlers.
- Another option is to have judges present who will choose the winning team based on whose team has the superior set of antlers.
