Animal Stuffed Party Games: Play these games at any gathering including stuffed animals, such as a safari birthday party, a puppy-themed get-together, or a tea party with teddy bears.
Find the Spotted Puppy
- Perhaps you don’t own a plush toy of a spotted puppy. It’s alright; you may start your game now. Find the Purple Giraffe, the Black Cat, or, well, you get the picture.
- Choose one plush animal that stands out from the others and hide it in the party area.
- Then conceal a number of additional plush creatures as well.
- Kids are challenged to locate the unique animal before the timer expires.
- The game cannot be won until the player finds the particular plush companion, though they may acquire others as they play.
Stuffed Animal Musical Chairs
- Set up a musical chairs game in your party area.
- Children will play while holding their stuffed animals.
- When the music stops, they must put their animals in the chairs rather than sit in them.
- The player whose animal is left unseated is eliminated, just like in the classic game.
Animal Act it Out
- Put all of the plush animals in a big basket.
- Set the basket behind the couch or in a room other than where the youngsters are congregated.
- Players must approach the basket one at a time, close their eyes, and take an animal out.
- They must then return to the group and continue acting like that animal (while remaining silent) until someone correctly identifies them.
Animal Rescue
- Divide the children into two teams and distribute the stuffed animals among them so that each team has an equal number.
- Put the plush animals in situations where they need to be rescued (kitty in a tree, bear stuck in a fence, pig stuck between couch cushions, etc.).
- The number of animals that must be saved by each squad is equal. The group that manages to save all of its animals first wins.
Relay of Stuffed Animals
- Teams of players are formed. Kids should line up behind a starting line. 20 feet should be left between the two piles of plush animals and the starting point.
- The first kids in line have to run to the pile when you yell, “Go!” and take a plush animal, putting it between their knees.
- Then, without losing their animals, they must sprint back to their teams.
- The following players are required to follow suit when they return.
- Relay play continues until all the creatures have been collected. The squad that finishes first wins.
Take in a Pet
- For this party activity, where kids can formally adopt their new friends, you can use plush animals that you are giving out as party favors.
- You can still carry out this game with the animals the kids brought to the party even if you aren’t giving out plush animals.
- Put every animal in a basket with a sign that reads “Adopt Me” (or create an area to serve as the rescue shelter).
- Create adoption certificates that the children can complete with their names, the name of the animal, and a statement pledging their commitment to caring for their rescued pet.
- When the adoption is finished, add a “seal of approval” using a stamp or sticker.
